Surviving the New EuroNASCAR in the Rain (One Split Chaos)

No heroic podium finishes here—just pure survival. For my very first official race in the brand-new EuroNASCAR cars under iRacing's rain physics, I had one goal: keep the wheels on the asphalt and bring the car home in one piece. We were in the only split, so top split with a massive 23-car grid at Rudskogen, and it was an absolute slip-and-slide from the green flag. Instead of trying to match the blistering pace of the top-tier "aliens" in the downpour, I took it entirely easy, focused heavily on smooth braking, and navigated the incredibly sketchy turns under braking. The strategy paid off. While the chaotic conditions caused 6 drivers to disconnect entirely from the session, we kept our head down and crossed the finish line in P16. The damage report: Safety Rating: +.03 (A win is a win!) iRating: A tiny -3 loss, bringing our Sports Car iRating to 725.
