Depending on this calculated soot mass, the DPF or DPF will be regenerated or replaced. Start the car. Connect the VCDS cable to the OBD2 port of the car. On Volkswagen, Skoda, Audi and Seat, the OBD2 port is located above the pedals. Wait until the green light comes on, then connect the other end of the cable to the USB port on the laptop. If the value is above 25 grams (up to a maximum of 40 grams), the DPF warning light on the instrument panel will light up and you will have to make a special trip with the car for regeneration. This means driving at a speed of more than 60 km / h at an engine speed of 2500 rpm for about 15-20 minutes. If the value exceeds 40 grams, the DPF warning light, the Check Engine warning light and the Spark Plug Sensor warning light will light up, which means that your car will no longer have power and will go into Limp Mode. To fix this problem, you will have to go to a car repair shop for a forced regeneration, which can only be done with a diagnostic tool.
