"It is permissible to hope" From dissent to the Czech presidency, path of playwright Václav Havel. 50 years after the breath of freedom of the Prague Spring, Havel's Land takes you with his characters: Václav Havel playwright, dissident, prisoner, president and Olga Havlova his wife, actress, photographer. Separated by the walls, but close in thought, the two artists respond with passion on the meaning of their cultural acts and resistance. In the middle of an authoritarian regime, faced with an arbitrary justice, husband and wife fight with humility and ethics. Their voices / ways resonate with our time. Havel's work irrigates this spectacle with his reflections on the dehumanization of modern man, the miracle of existence and calls for the responsibility of each. A musical creation show performed live for a "rock" president, a friend of Lou Reed and Zappa. Havel invites the Rolling Stones to Prague in 1990: "The tanks are gone, the Rolling Stones are coming", could read in the newspapers.
