On stage for the first time in 20 years. Pretty nerve wrecking. Not so much about the playing and singing bit, but more due to the fact that I chose to do it all myself, including mixing, from stage. In hindsight that was a mistake. Both visually as well as sonically. To cut a long story short; we were too close to the main speakers and as a result vocal feedback occurred. To rectify that I had to pull the vocal levels down which in turn meant that the audience could barely hear it. The backing vocals were pre-recorded. In this video I've therefore taken the vocals from the rehearsal and sound check and edited them in so that viewers of this video can actually hear them, sung live. They've not been edited or pitch corrected. Most of the set was instrumental songs and that went very well. The audience seemed to enjoy themselves too.
