Budget Banggood Jet Maiden! 64mm Futura Flight Test

In today's video, we are finally taking out the 64mm Futura RC Jet for its official maiden flight! Picked up from Banggood for around $149 (after shipping, taxes, and Levon's special "handling fees"), we previously tried to fly this at our other rougher field, but it was just too wet and bumpy for a jet. Today, we're back at our smoother second field to see what this budget-friendly flyer can really do! We are running this on a 4S 3300mAh battery—which is slightly larger than the recommended 3200mAh pack—giving us plenty of juice, though it makes the jet a bit tight on space. It's a relatively quiet and stable 64mm jet, though it flies a bit slower than the Viper. After a few weeks off from flying, the thumbs were a little rusty, leading to a hilariously bouncy basketball-style landing that slightly bent the front landing gear! Thankfully, these foam planes are easy to bend right back into shape. Video Timestamps: [00:02] - Introduction, backstory on the failed first attempt, and field choice. [00:29] - Pricing breakdown from Banggood and battery setup (4S 3300mAh). [01:36] - Takeoff and initial flight impressions. [02:16] - Checking the sound and speed comparison to the Viper jet. [03:23] - Bringing the Futura in for a landing (and the brutal bounce!). [04:14] - Damage assessment, checking the remaining battery percentage, and bending the gear back. [05:32] - Teasing what's coming up next on the channel. Don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more RC flight tests!
