In this video tutorial, which is the first part of how to install artificial turf on soil, we show you the procedure we followed to level and compact the ground. We used 1 cm thick, 1.5 meter long iron rods to drive into the ground and create the levels. We placed the rods 2 meters apart to facilitate leveling when spreading the soil we used. We received a completely free box of samples sent to us by Todocesped so we could compare and choose which turf best suited our space. We also wanted to replace the old turf we had, which was purchased at a retail outlet and was one of our biggest mistakes, as it couldn't withstand the harsh winter weather and became completely unusable in just one year.
