Visiting St Michael's Mount, an ancient tidal island and medieval castle

Hello and welcome back to another video Today we are visiting St Michaels Mount, an ancient tidal island with beautiful garden and spectacular castle. Every part of this island and castle is filled with interesting history. I've captured some of it today but there is so much to explore, so if you are in the area I would highly recommend a visit. St Michael's Mount is home to James St Aubyn, (the fifth Lord St Levan) and his family, they live in the East Wing of the castle. The guidebook written by James St Aubyn was a great source of information and I would recommend picking one up from the gift shop if you visit. I hope you enjoy looking around with me.
