If you like this, I would appreciate a subscription. O'CEBREIRO-PORTOMARIN (63km/+1121m) This stage starts off cold, as the altitude of O Cebreiro is noticeable. We're tired from the previous stage, but we soon warm up as we have to climb back up to Alto do Poio. A long climb that helps us warm up. We descend and pass through some very beautiful places through forests and along some great paths (we see more pilgrims here, though not many). It feels long, as it's the longest stage we'll cover: 64km. We have to stop along the way for lunch. We order a beef sandwich, which was impossible to eat because of its size (we're in Galicia, after all). We continue on and in the afternoon we arrive in Portomarin, a town on the banks of the Miño River with great views of the river. We enjoyed grilled octopus and some exquisite ham croquettes, as big as tennis balls. We stayed at the Hotel Casona da Ponte. WIKILOC TRACK https://es.wikiloc.com/wikiloc/spatia...
