In this video, you'll get to see a live ARD experiment. A subject is used to test this. Infact ARD only is allowed to test stuff WITH subjects (atleast most stuff). They also have to follow certain procedures (made by ARD leadership (L7+)). An example would be: everyone including SC has to be scanned before concluding an experiment.
