My Nostalgia Trip Games - Episode 100 - Sierra On-Line SPECIAL

Finnish Retro Game Comparison Blog/TV presents: My Nostalgia Trip Games. For each episode, My Nostalgia Trip Games features five or more randomly chosen games that I enjoy revisiting on my nostalgia trips. Episode 100 is a special feature dedicated entirely to adventure games by Sierra On-Line from 1984 to 1996, with mentions of games released by the company (both as Sierra On-Line and On-Line Systems) prior to this period of time. Because of the amount of material involved on different systems, all the gameplay footage was recorded using emulators, and it took almost three months to compile this video altogether even with that advantage. This episode ends the 7th season of My Nostalgia Trip Games, and unless something radically life-altering happens, the next season will begin in February 2026. -UPDATE 12.11.2025- Need for a small correction here, but it's impossible to recreate the video anymore, so I'll just do it here. My friend Jani has brought to my attention, that the actual reason for Sierra to switch their name from On-Line Systems to Sierra On-Line was, because there already was a company called On-Line Systems prior to theirs, and theirs wasn't registered, so the change was made in order to avoid further conflict. However, the name was chosen from the location. -LINKS FOR MENTIONED THINGS- The Colossal Cave adventure game at Rick Adams' page: https://rickadams.org/adventure/advent/ AGI Studio page at AGI Wiki (with links to archived websites): https://agiwiki.sierrahelp.com/index....
