Embossing with a Mini Halfwood Press
To answer a question about using an etching press to do embossing similar to that which letterpress printing does so well, Bill Ritchie tries his Mini Halfwood etching press on a carved woodcut, holding it in place with a plastic chase. First attempts failed, but in the end he discovered it was because the felt blankets were worn out from printing etchings, and with new felts he got good results.
