SMARTPLS Validity and Reliability Testing In this video, I explain and demonstrate how to conduct validity and reliability tests with SmartPLS. Validity testing is the instrument used by researchers to measure research instruments. SMARTPLS validity testing consists of two methods: the SmartPLS convergent validity test and the SmartPLS discriminant validity test. Reliability testing is a statistical test used to measure the consistency of a questionnaire. SmartPLS reliability testing is also divided into two methods: Cronbach's alpha and composite reliability. SmartPLS validity and reliability testing are included in the SmartPLS outer model.
