The aftermath of Rangi and Ellen sleeping together- despite trying marriage counselling, Ellen and David are still unable to properly communicate their feelings about Rose's death and start to grow apart. Meanwhile the trolley wars between Lionel and Earl heat up at the clinic whilst Frank is besotted with the new pet axolotl that Bridget bought for him (much to the disgust of housemates Caroline and Donna) and Rachel declares her love and lust for Nick.
