Born and raised in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico she got her start DJing in the sweaty basements of Berlin and London before getting beloved radio shows on NTS Radio and Gilles Peterson's Worldwide FM which got her a large following from shows focused on playing global funk, Latin, and African music. Alongside this, Coco María continues to spread the Club Coco mission far and wide throwing parties at clubs like the hallowed Panorama Bar and Pickle Factory as well being a mainstay at festivals such as Dekmantel Selectors, Gala and We Out Here. She was an absolute no brainer to invite down to our 100% Vinyl series that sees DJs dig deep into their record bags and produce a set purely from wax.
