This video presents a complete, continuous, and unedited walkthrough recording of the interior public spaces of West Edmonton Mall (also known as WEM), located at 8882 170 St NW, Edmonton, Alberta T5T 4J2, Canada. The footage follows a steady path through the mall’s multiple levels, corridors, themed districts, retail areas, food courts, and approaches to major attractions, offering viewers a direct visual record of the complex as it exists in 2026. West Edmonton Mall opened on September 15, 1981, and was developed in four distinct phases completed in 1981, 1983, 1985, and 1999. It spans a total area of 490,000 square meters (5.3 million square feet), with 350,000 square meters (3.8 million square feet) of leasable retail space. The complex contains more than 800 stores and ranks as the second-largest shopping mall in North America by total size, behind only the Mall of America. It holds the record for the highest number of stores of any mall in the Western Hemisphere. The mall is owned, managed, and operated by the Triple Five Group. It attracts approximately 32 million visitors annually, with typical daily attendance between 90,000 and 200,000 people depending on the day and season. More than 24,000 people are employed on site. The facility includes over 100 dining venues and two hotels: the integrated Fantasyland Hotel and the affiliated West Edmonton Mall Inn located across the street.
