Big South Fork Multisurface Overnighter

Join us as we get back out to Big South Fork and ride a mixed-surface overnighter. Joe Cross shared this route in the Central Kentucky Bikepackers Facebook group. Beautiful, remote, and challenging — it is a perfect taste of Tennessee and Kentucky backcountry adventure. About 95% of the route is unpaved, with a mix of rugged gravel forest roads and about 9 miles of single track along the Chestnut Ridge and John Muir/Sheltowee Trace Trail.
