HOLLOW KNIGHT: SILKSONG - PIERWSZE WRAŻENIA

Hey, dear viewer! Check this out, because after making this stream, we played for a few more hours, and I have a few other comments that didn't make it into the video: I played around with the crests, and they're much better than I initially thought. Admittedly, some of them are pretty bad, but it's definitely not worth sticking with the default one. The later platforming challenges are a pain. I encountered a sequence that's harder than the damn Path of Pain (and I say this without a hint of irony – mainly due to the narrow passages and the fact that you take double damage from the environment, and also from the beginning to the end of the sequence, you have no surface to stand on), which gave me... half a mana bar upgrade xD The area containing the sequence described above contains enemies that are heavier than the bosses. Damage immunity, double damage AOEs, flying, and (what shocked me deeply) wall-crawling are all traits, most of which even a single opponent can possess. The quests seem to get even worse over time. The courier missions are also added to those described above. I completed several of them and received almost nothing for most of them. Only one reward turned out to be useful. Later quests require running around almost the entire map, collecting items that are almost never indicated – this is also a quest that allows you to further upgrade your weapons. I don't see any way to do this on your own in a reasonable amount of time; I recommend waiting for maps. Later bosses are even worse. Horribly designed duo fights often appear, and the bosses themselves can even have two cross-attacks at the worst possible moments (which isn't hyperbole on my part). They spawn even more swarms, and this sometimes happens during the aforementioned duo fights. So, not only do you have two bosses, but you also have a swarm to kill, which can also deal double damage. One of the fights (which, interestingly, is also located in the area described earlier) can end with the boss inflicting two masks on you, pushing you out of the arena into the lava, which inflicts two masks on you again. So, in a few frames of animation, you lose four masks because the iframe after the hit doesn't protect you from environmental damage. Sometimes there's a workaround – for example, a boss attacking with fire can be made easier by buying a fire resistance charm, but so far, I've only been able to save myself this way once. Runbacks can become unbearable to the point where they're more challenging than the boss fight itself. A later gauntlet led me to one of the few ragequits I've ever encountered. It involves killing 10 waves of enemies, where wave 5 is the boss, and wave 10 is the same two bosses. The developers' level of impertinence in this game is beyond me at times. I'm surprised at how shitty a bossfight can be in a game from a company whose previous title was so outstanding. 00:00 Intro 00:41 SIlksong isn't perfect 01:48 Problems with buying the game (Servers are down) 04:40 The beginning of the game is the best 05:30 The game is beautiful 06:50 Level Design 7:42 Movement 08:52 Crests and movesets 11:08 Narrative 12:07 The game can surprise you 13:38 Game balance 16:28 Healing 18:27 Enemy design + weapon upgrade pathology 20:16 Enemies are damage sponges 20:45 Lazy boss moveset 22:05 Map scale and collectibles 24:50 Swarms on boss fights 27:18 Lack of progression 29:06 Problem with quests 33:35 Economy requires grinding 36:37 Boss arenas 37:05 Charmy 40:00 Rude Gamedesign 43:14 Forced Interlocation 43:45 Gauntlets 45:04 My impressions after 14 hours KICK: https://kick.com/snakeiter I also stream on Twitch:   / snakeiter1   #advertisement BUY CHEAPER ON INSTANT GAMING: https://www.instant-gaming.com/?igr=s...
