Global Energy Transition and Electrification Summit - London Climate Action Week 2026

Organised by the UK government, E3G, Global Renewables Alliance and We Mean Business Coalition, political leaders and CEOs gathered during LCAW 2026 and discussed how to build clean, electrified economies and advance the global transition away from fossil fuels at the first Global Energy Transition and Electrification Summit. Against a backdrop of geopolitical instability and energy price volatility, the Summit provided an opportunity to discuss the outcomes of the Santa Marta Conference on Transitioning Away from Fossil Fuels and take stock of progress on the COP30 Presidency roadmap. As the COP31 Presidency put electrification front and centre, the Summit brought together governments and business to accelerate the policies, investments and international support needed to electrify economies, strengthen energy security, and deliver an equitable energy transition.
