Rags to Riches: Firewood Edition | Ep. 4

The Rags to Riches: Firewood Edition journey continues! In this episode, I process another dead tree using nothing more than a cheap Chinese chainsaw, an old splitting maul and plenty of hard work. The tree is already on the ground, ready to be cut into rounds, split into firewood and loaded up for transport. After processing the timber, everything gets loaded into the trailer and brought back to the yard, where we build a pallet bin to store and season future firewood loads. As the operation grows, it's becoming clear that some of the equipment is being pushed to its limits, and another upgrade may not be too far away. 💰 Progress Update: • Previous upgrade fund: $125 • Profit from this load: +$115 • Equipment upgrade: -$100 • Current upgrade fund total: $140 In this episode: • Cutting up a fallen dead tree • Bucking logs into firewood rounds • Splitting timber by hand • Loading a trailer full of firewood • Building a pallet bin for firewood storage • Adding another $115 to the project • Investing in the next equipment upgrade • Continuing the journey from budget gear to a better setup Every dollar earned goes back into improving the operation, one load at a time. The goal remains the same: start with the cheapest gear possible and work towards a serious firewood setup through hard work and reinvestment. 👍 Like, subscribe, and follow along as we turn dead timber into profit and slowly upgrade from the most basic equipment to a serious firewood setup. #RagsToRiches #FirewoodEdition #FirewoodBusiness #Chainsaw #WoodSplitting #Firewood #TreeWork #DIY #PalletBin #BushWork #SmallBusiness #SideHustle #SawLife #BudgetBuild #FirewoodProcessing
