Xena Disc Lock Alarm Review - XX15

Product review of the Xena XX15-SS Disc-Lock Alarm that I use on my Harley Davidson Iron 883 Sportster. The disc-lock was a great solution for this, and the fact that it has an alarm built into it as well was an added perk. This keeps some bike thief from being able to put your bike in neutral and rolling it away, since the disc-lock will end up rotating around and hitting the fork or brakes / pads and cause it to stop. It also has a 120dB alarm built in, which is very loud in person (ear piercing) and gets peoples attention. I heard bike thieves hate getting attention. It only takes a few extra seconds to put the disc-lock alarm on whenever parking the bike somewhere, and it's nice for the peace of mind. It's worth taking a few extra steps to try to deter a bike thief from taking your bike. Leave the bike in gear, lock your handlebars, throw on the disc-lock alarm, and whatever other deterrents you're able to throw in there help a little bit in keeping the bike thieves at bay. As of recording this review, I've owned the Xena disc-lock alarm for about 7 months now, and am very happy with it. I've had the alarm 'phantom' go off on me (whenever nothing touched or moved it / nobody around) a few times, maybe like 5 or 6 times to date that I've actually heard. Overall, would recommend it. There are some bad reviews on Amazon from people having bad experiences with these, but my experience has been good.
