Samsung QLED Bilmecesi! Benimki mi? Seninki mi?

#samsung #TV #QLED #QNED Samsung recently shared a video claiming that its TVs are true QLED, but other TVs are not. But was this true? We asked four different manufacturers about this: LG, Philips, Thomson TV, and TCL. LG responded to this question by citing the link below as an example, stating that the issue wasn't related to them. https://www.thelec.net/news/articleVi... Thomson TV shared the following statement: The term "QLED" is not a technology solely owned or patented by any brand. In the television industry, this term is commonly used to describe LCD/LED TVs that use a Quantum Dot enhancement layer to improve color accuracy and performance. This Quantum Dot layer can be found in film form or applied to a glass surface. All THOMSON television models bearing the QLED label feature this Quantum Dot layer and are active under the device's standard operating conditions. Backlight architecture may vary between brands and models. Different lighting solutions, such as Edge-lit, Mini-LED, or various optical schemes, can be used to simulate the Quantum Dot structure. The decisive factor here is not the type of backlight used, but the presence and active operation of the Quantum Dot layer in the device. Therefore, the absence of a specific "blue backlight" design cannot be interpreted as the Quantum Dot layer being passive or the product not being a "true QLED." Other manufacturers, including Samsung, have not commented on this matter. We are sharing our thoughts on this matter with you. You decide for yourself who is a true QLED and who is not...
