What if, ultimately, angle grinder-resistant locks didn't exist? That's the question we asked ourselves before redoing our resistance tests on bike locks touted as ultra-strong, changing just one parameter: the disc used. In our first video, we used standard discs for metal. Here, we switched to diamond discs. And it makes all the difference. Does this make these locks worthless? No, because they remain generally more resistant than others against all other types of thieves' attacks. This new test, however, serves as a reminder that no lock is impenetrable and that you should maximize your chances by using multiple security measures.
