THIS Is Why I LOVE The Novus Ordo Mass

In this video, I’m taking you deep into the mystery of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass - specifically the Novus Ordo Mass - and why I love it so much. There’s a lot of chatter online about the Traditional Latin Mass vs. the Novus Ordo, and while I have a deep respect and love for the TLM (and attend when I can), I’m here to tell you that the Novus Ordo is rich, beautiful, reverent, and absolutely exploding with grace - if you understand what’s really happening. We’re walking together from Palm Sunday to the Resurrection -in real time - every single time we step into Mass! This isn’t just a ritual or a reenactment. This is the real thing. I’ll show you how the Eucharistic prayers bring us to the Upper Room, to Calvary, and ultimately to the glory of the Resurrection through the Doxology. We’ll look at John 6, John 12, Isaiah 6, Matthew 28, Romans 12, and more - so you can see how Scripture is living and breathing in the liturgy. I’ll also walk you through the Agnus Dei, the Communion procession, and the incredible reality that when you receive the Eucharist, you are receiving the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus Christ. I also talk candidly about why I kneel and receive on the tongue, why I prefer to receive from the priest in persona Christi, and why I believe we need to wake up and stop going through the motions.
