Does a Supercharged Ski Really Use a Lot More Gas?

You hear it all of the time. Everyone says that a supercharged ski will use a lot more fuel than a naturally aspirated ski. Is that always true? Of course, they go faster and faster speeds do mean less fuel economy but do you have to burn more fuel at any speed? I say no! Not too long ago, Jet Drift did an article on how far a jet ski can go on a tank of fuel. They were not comparing supercharged to non supercharged but they did post some interesting numbers about fuel economy.
