Goa: Pearl of the Orient -- A Snapshot of Goa in the 1980s

A home-made presentation put together by Mel D'Souza, with photographs he took during brief visits to Goa in 1982 and 1989. Bel Remedios and Edwin D'Souza contributed three photographs each, and Elaine D'Souza offered the picture of people walking down the street in the village of Saligão -- a scene so typical of Goa's quintessential 'susegado' way of life.
