miniRally "Talsi" 2026 SS2 - "TX koks" | Subaru Impreza 2.0R

This was the first of three 2026 Latvian miniRally Championship gravel rounds - Rally Talsi, and our first proper gravel rally. Even though we did compete in the dedicated practice day almost two months ago - driving on gravel (where we learned a lot about pacenotes and how the car handled on a different-loose surface) we still had a lot of new information to digest. This time we even recorded the stages during the recce day before (which did help.. at least with the pacenotes I think), still i'm "lacking" on the driving side - not trusting the handling of the car and the tire grip yet. Which hopefully will improve during the next two gravel rounds. Yes, the car is lacking power compared to others, but after watching the onboards I can see, that there is still potential for it. ------------------------------------- Short description of "what is minirally?" - You can participate with street legal non-rally cars. The whole rally distance is shorter (~25-30 km) and the avarage speed is lower. Hence why we don't have the full roll-cage ect. About the car - it's a stock Subaru Impreza GH 2.0R (NA) with an added half roll-cage (It's street legal in Latvia), 4-point RRS harnesses, a bit better brakes/pads/lines, tires and some additional safety equipment.
