On July 12, the 83rd anniversary of the genocide of Poles in the Eastern Borderlands was commemorated in Kłodzko. The ceremony was organized by Kłodzko County, the City of Kłodzko, the Commune of Kłodzko, and the Association of Borderlanders of the Kłodzko Region. For many years, Kłodzko has been an important place of remembrance of the Borderlands. Annual commemorations highlight the contribution of the Borderlanders to the development of the Kłodzko Region and cultivate the memory of the tragic events that affected the Polish population in the eastern territories of the Second Polish Republic.
