Parallel running on the SBR starring 'Isaac', 'Liassic', & 'Minas D A', 8/3/25 #steam #narrowgauge

A new photographic viewpoint I discovered! This was a kind of loading stage between Oak Tree Halt and Cogan Halt at the Statfold Barn Railway's 'Spectacle of Steam' gala last weekend, which allowed me to see Bagnall 0-4-2T 'Isaac' on a shuttle service between the two halts with the replica Himalayan Mountain Railway coaches and also to see passing trains on the 'main circuit'. In several cases, this lead to timing coincidences like this one - perhaps not too difficult to fluke when there's twelve locos running! I thought that this one was the nicest, with 'Isaac' chuffing by down the incline and rounding the curve before Peckett 0-6-0ST 'Liassic' and Corpet Louvet 0-6-0T 'Minas de Aller No2' double-headed their train past me in the opposite direction.
