They are famous for their Sambar , Nei Mundhiri Rava Dose (Ghee Cashewnut Rava dose). So we ordered This Dose and Idly sambar. Served with 4 types of Chutney and one sambar. Taste of Dose is too rich and in every bite you get the Cashewnut. Idly is soft and Sambar is dominant on Dal. Finally we took one strong filter coffee. Now its run by 4th Generation of the Family and he is already 60 year old. One must definitely visit this shop to learn the history of this place as well as for their yummy dishes. It helps to cool down body heat and is also healthy. This place at Madurai is one of the oldest in town started as a road side street cart but now renovated as a big shop over a period of time. Sri Meenakshi Paniyaram Shop Must try here is the Butter Bun which is made with all In -House ingredients like Naati Benne ( Desi Butter ) , sugar and bun. The bun becomes too soft and the sugar is caramilised along with the salted butter gives an immense taste. Definitely its a must try!
