FCCI Official Business Delegation to Spain - (1–5 June 2026)

The Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI), under the leadership of its President, Mr. Farooq Yousaf Sheikh, undertook an official business delegation to Spain to strengthen bilateral trade relations, promote investment opportunities, and expand institutional collaboration between Pakistan and Spain. The visit brought together leading representatives of the Faisalabad business community to engage with prominent public institutions, chambers of commerce, trade organizations, and government bodies in Barcelona and Valencia. Throughout the four-day visit, the delegation participated in a series of high-level meetings, official ceremonies, international exhibitions, and business networking sessions. One of the most significant achievements of the visit was the signing of a historic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry and the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce. This landmark agreement—the first of its kind between the Barcelona Chamber and any chamber of commerce in Pakistan—marked a major milestone in fostering long-term institutional cooperation and enhancing bilateral trade and investment between the two countries. The delegation also attended a seminar on strengthening bilateral trade, visited the Consulate General of Pakistan in Barcelona, participated in internationally renowned exhibitions including Expoquimia 2026 and SIL Barcelona 2026, and held productive meetings with the Valencia Chamber of Commerce, the Parliament of Catalonia, the Barcelona Bar Association, the Ombudsman of Barcelona, and the Notarial Office of Catalonia.
