Batman haters always turn to the idea that without money, Bruce Wayne would’ve been nothing but some deranged lunatic and something definitely not Batman. Everyone knows that’s clearly not true, especially after Absolute Batman dropped. This version of Bruce Wayne is literally nobody, totally opposite from the trust fund kid from tragedy. Except that’s not completely true, Bruce still lost his father but kept this mother. Many critics often throw around the premise of this story being “The Batman with nothing to lose” but that’s not true, this is the only version of Bruce Wayne with something to lose. That being his friends like Harvey Dent, Oswald Cobblepot, Waylone Jones and even his own mother. However despite this version of Brue Wayne being far different from the standard, he still becomes Batman. Using ingenuity, creativity, discipline and lots of planning, Bruce Wayne is still and always will be Batman.
