🚗🌴 Madurai & Rameshwaram Road Trip Series | EP2 – Bangalore to Madurai Road Trip | Crossing into Tamil Nadu, Healthy Millet Thali & Courtyard by Marriott Madurai Welcome to Episode 2 of our exciting Madurai & Rameshwaram Road Trip Series! In this vlog, we continue our family road trip as we travel from Bangalore to Madurai, entering the heart and cultural capital of Tamil Nadu. Covering approximately 420 km in around 9 hours, this journey took us through beautiful highways, changing landscapes, delicious local food, and one of the best highway rest stops we've visited. 📍 Our Route: Bangalore → Hosur → Uddanapalli → Baliganur → Palacode → Dharmapuri → Salem → Dindigul → Madurai 🌏 Crossing into Tamil Nadu Soon after leaving Bangalore, we crossed the Karnataka–Tamil Nadu border near Hosur, marking the beginning of the Tamil Nadu leg of our journey. As we drove further south, the scenery changed beautifully, with lush greenery, rolling hills, and well-maintained highways making for a comfortable drive. 🍽️ Healthy Millet Thali for Lunch One of the biggest highlights of this road trip was our lunch stop, where we enjoyed an incredible Millet Thali. It was one of the healthiest and most delicious meals we've had in a long time, packed with authentic South Indian flavours and wholesome ingredients. If you're driving this route, this meal is definitely worth trying! ☕ Evening Tea at Hotel Aarthi – NHAI Wayside Amenities Later in the evening, we stopped for tea at the famous Hotel Aarthi, located between Salem and Madurai. This modern NHAI Wayside Amenities rest stop offers everything a road traveller needs, including: ✅ Spacious parking for cars, buses, and bikes ✅ Multiple food outlets and restaurants ✅ Tea & coffee stalls ✅ Clean washrooms ✅ Shops selling travel essentials and snacks It was the perfect place to relax before completing the final stretch of our drive. 🏨 Arrival at Courtyard by Marriott Madurai By evening, we finally reached Courtyard by Marriott Madurai, where we checked in after a long but enjoyable drive.
