Games. Built on Unreal Engine 5, the game will be released on May 22, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. Buyers of the Deluxe Edition will receive early access to the game starting May 19, 2026. The adventure is an homage to the Dark Knight's 86-year history, combining elements from various comics, films, series, and video games into a unique, humorous LEGO universe. The narrative follows young Bruce Wayne from his initial training with the League of Shadows to his rise as the ultimate protector of Gotham City. As the story unfolds, he recruits a family of allies and forms teams with established characters like Jim Gordon, Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, and Catwoman. Simultaneously, the famous roster of villains, including the Joker, the Penguin, Bane, and Poison Ivy, emerges, all of whom must be stopped. The plot repeatedly references iconic moments from well-known works such as the Tim Burton films and "The Dark Knight" trilogy, reinterpreting them in TT Games' signature parodic style. In terms of gameplay, the title takes a clear step towards the "Batman: Arkham" series developed by Rocksteady. The completely redesigned combat system relies on fluid combos, rhythm-based counterattacks, stealth techniques, and detective skills. The game features a total of seven playable characters, each with a unique fighting style and specific gadgets. The roster is logically led by Batman, followed by his familiar allies Robin, Nightwing, and Batgirl, who form the core of the Bat-Family. The seventh playable character is Talia al Ghul, the daughter of Ra's al Ghul, who, as a complex antagonist, bridges the gap between Batman's allies and the League of Shadows. Movement through the neon-lit, sprawling Gotham City is possible via grappling hook, gliding flight, or at the wheel of over 20 iconic vehicles, including the classic Batmobile and the Tumbler. Besides fighting crime, exploration takes center stage, as the game world is filled with secrets, puzzles, and iconic locations like Arkham Asylum and Wayne Tower. A key feature of the title is its extensive customization. Players can choose from over 100 different costumes taken directly from DC Comics history. The Batcave also serves as an interactive hub, which can be personalized with more than 250 collectible trophies and items. The main game can be played entirely solo or in local couch co-op mode. To appeal to experienced players, a challenging "Dark Knight" difficulty level has been included.
