This Watch Has Everything… So Why Isn’t Anyone Buying It?

Not every watch on this channel has to be something I’d personally buy. Sometimes it just has to be interesting. And the Ball Roadmaster M Model A definitely qualifies. This isn’t a watch that’ll shift huge numbers or dominate search like a Seiko or Citizen. It’s a limited run of 333 pieces and honestly not one most of you are rushing out to purchase. But that doesn’t make it irrelevant. If anything, it highlights one of the biggest problems modern watches face and shows what happens when a brand tries to push something new in a very traditional space. In this video we take a closer look at Ball’s Roadmaster M Model A. A chunky, complication-heavy GMT with an alarm, tritium tubes, and a brand new movement developed in-house for Ball. It’s thick, expensive, a little divisive and very much not to my personal taste — but there’s a lot going on here worth talking about. From the railroad heritage that still shapes Ball today to the reality of launching a technically impressive watch into a market obsessed with recognisable icons, this one opens up a bigger conversation about what actually sells in the modern watch world. It might not be a future classic. It might not even sell out. But it’s a fascinating example of what happens when a brand builds something interesting rather than just safe. #watch #watchreview #ballwatch #gmtwatch #luxurywatch #luxurywatches #watchcollector
