Partnered with YAMAP Day 15 of my Japan Motorcycle Trip! I climbed Mount Asahi in the Daisetsuzan Mountains! Even early in the morning, it was still light, so I could enjoy touring all the way to the trailhead! It's the highest peak, but the ropeway took me partway up, so the climb was enjoyable from start to finish. ✨ For those with more stamina, I think the route back down, instead of a round trip, would be even more scenic! I heard there's even a natural hot spring on that route...! Make sure you plan and prepare carefully before heading up the mountain!
