Definitely an interesting topic that I really hadn't though to explore until now, even though it plays a large role in a majority of different character's lives. It's obviously extremely critical of the culture in the United States, both past and present, and I think rightfully so. Not only is it so important to be loud and critical when we see ourselves regressing into past values, it's super important to highlight the detriment of our former history, to not present everything as sunshine and rainbows in the past, as we've made mistakes. We need to own up to them. That way, we can learn, and be more supportive.
