伊勢型紙 Ise-Katagami(long ver.)

伊勢型紙とは、友禅、ゆかた、小紋などの柄や文様を着物の生地を染めるのに用いるもので、三重県鈴鹿市にて発展した千有余年の歴史を誇る伝統的工芸品(用具)です。 和紙を加工した紙(型地紙)に彫刻刀で、きものの文様や図柄を丹念に彫り抜いたものですが、型紙を作るには高度な技術と根気や忍耐が必要です。型紙についての詳細は、下記のHPをご参照ください。 伊勢形紙協同組合HP http://isekatagami.or.jp/ Ise-Katagami, hand-carved pattern paper, is the Japanese traditional craft of making paper stencils for dyeing textiles (e.g. Kimono, Yuzen, Yukata, Komon) , and has been developed In Suzuka city, Mie prefecture with more than a thousand year history. It is made of sheets of waterproofed Washi, traditional Japanese paper, and elaborately cut into traditional pattern stencils by using specific chisel with four main techniques.
