The Smart Jacket is an autonomous and universal airbag for motorcyclists. Dainese has clearly learned its lesson and made significant improvements over the previous model. The Smart Jacket is not designed for sports. Engineers decided to separate the worlds of sports and "civilian" riding. Indeed, collision and accident scenarios are different between track riding and standard public road infrastructure. Dainese wants the vest to fit everyone, so they have produced 6 men's and 6 women's sizes. It can be worn under any jacket or as an outer layer. The electronics are rain-resistant, so those who enjoy playing "storm riders" need not worry. For an autonomous airbag vest, the Smart Jacket is not expensive, but if you manage to take advantage of its features, inflating it costs around 1000 PLN. It may seem expensive, but during the re-inflation process, all airbag components are replaced, including the material that inflates upon impact – so we get practically a completely new product.
