Route 491 operates as the "slow" X58 through all villages between Kerbelburg and Neunhof (the first town after the district border). Very early in the morning, in the evening, and on Sundays, services are extended to Weidenkopf, thus simultaneously replacing the X58 and the 450. X-buses are sometimes used on these services for circulation reasons. The route runs from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m., hourly Mon-Sat, and every two hours on Sundays.
