It’s called NIPPONIA HOTEL Koyasan Sankeitetsudo, and it’s located inside the former Nankai Koya-Shita Station building. Unbelievably, it takes just 10 seconds from the ticket gate to the hotel entrance. You’ve never stayed this close to a station before! In the video, I’ll take you through: The journey from Namba Station to Koya-Shita Station A smooth, contactless check-in process And a tour of the railway-themed rooms, filled with real train parts! From original train seats, hanging straps, to conductor uniforms — it’s a dream come true for train lovers. Looking out at the crossing from the window, and falling asleep to the sound of trains passing... it was a magical and unforgettable experience. ⚠️ Note: There are few restaurants or convenience stores nearby, so bringing your own meals is recommended. However, the hotel does offer a simple Japanese breakfast with rice balls and miso soup. This historical train station hotel gets excellent reviews on Google Maps, with many saying it's “an unforgettable experience.” But since it’s unmanned and close to the station platform, I’ll also honestly share the pros and cons so you know what to expect.
