Crowdfunding for Radio Blina-Jahray Radio Blina-Jahray is an online Community radio broadcasting authentic Blin language programs advancing the cultures, views, thoughts, and ideas of the Blin people. Providing a platform for the rights of people to enjoy free expression and networking among the Blin people in Diaspora, the radio station is now seen as the only means of access to important information about current affairs, health, education, and events affecting the Blin people. It is run by a dedicated group of talented, educated, and experienced Blin volunteers. The board of directors has now launched a fundraising campaign to expand and extend the station’s reach to the place of its root, and are very excited to involve the community in this funding enterprise. With this funding Radio Blina-Jahray will be able to have: ● permanent access to a satellite slot reaching Eritrea; ● resources to purchase the necessary digital technology hardware and software; and ● liaise with pertinent sister organizations complementing the aims of the station. Meeting our funding goal would give us a greater voice for preserving, developing, and documenting the cultures, views, thoughts, and ideas of the Blin people.
