BIGSOUND 2014: the church keynote

It’s a rare band that finds itself recognised as a bona fide legend in the Rock’n’Roll Hall of Fame while simultaneously remaining a virtual enigma to the mainstream. The Church’s accidental signature tune, ‘Under The Milky Way’, is like a lighthouse on the edge of a continent to be discovered: 24 albums over 34 years, interspersed with countless solo and other diversions that have almost killed them a dozen times, yet always reaffirm a commitment to their own unparalleled chemistry and the undeniable act of creation.
