The second that beat dropped I instantly heard those UK Garage influences, and as a producer that immediately grabbed my attention. Then when the rhythm started dipping into Jersey Club, the energy just went through the roof! This track is ridiculously catchy without trying too hard. Everything feels effortless—from the melodies and vocal delivery to the production and groove. I also loved how colourful and fun the music video was. It perfectly matched the youthful energy of the song and kept me smiling the whole way through. One thing NewJeans seem to do incredibly well is making songs that feel simple on the surface, but underneath there's so much clever production going on. This was my first time hearing Super Shy, and it's definitely going straight onto the playlist!
