Všerubská cesta #2 | Zbraslav - Skalka – Kytín

The second stage of the Všerubská cesta continues the prologue from Prague. From Zbraslav we climb through Baně and Černolice to the baroque Skalka area with the church of St. Mary Magdalene, where we get a stamp for our credential. Skalka is one of the most beautiful pilgrimage sites around Prague – views, atmosphere, history. We end the first day at the Kytín brewery and stop at the Pavol Landovský Bench on the way. In this part of the video, the original audio input from the film The Suffering of the Young Rich Man (Pavel Landovský and Stela Zázvorková) is briefly used as a cultural reminder of Landovský's work and his personality. At the Kytín brewery, we also laugh at the descriptive number 205. It is an allusion to the well-known Czech film slogan from Tank Battalion and later from Pelíšky, where Miroslav Donutil uses the expression “kóta 205” / “dejte mi line 205”. The video is about light film humor so that the viewer understands the context of our joke. In the morning, we look around Kytín – the Virgin Mary’s well, the church, breakfast – and continue a few more kilometers along the Všerubská route of the Way of St. James. The video is a relaxed trek of three friends, supplemented with drone footage, the atmosphere of a pilgrimage route and beautiful views. In the next part, we will continue further west.
