The entire property is a maze of traditional pagodas, weeping willows, and winding stone paths over private lagoons. It honestly feels like stepping back in time. The dishes are incrediable. However, it is incredibly hard to get a table. Do not wait until you check in to make a reservation; book it a couple of days in advance. The Classic vs. Modern Hardware: While the resort grounds are a flawless 10/10, keep in mind that the property leans toward classic, traditional luxury. If you are expecting the hyper-modern, high-tech touchscreens and automation of a brand-new hotel like the Rosewood, the room tech here might feel a bit dated. That said, the insane privacy and timeless design completely make up for it.
