Zoomarine Theme Park - Algarve, Portugal

Check out our Tivoli Alvor review:    • Tivoli Alvor - 5* Hotel - Algarve, Portugal   In this video we visit the Zoomarine Theme Park in the Algarve region of Portugal. The hotel we stayed in offered complimentary/free tickets for guests staying more than 7 days, so we jumped at the chance to have a free day of fun! The park consists of rides, pools and animals, so is really a Theme Park, Water Park and Zoological Park all rolled into one! Most of the rides are geared more towards children, but there is certainly fun to be had for adults as well (notably the Log Flume and Jurassic River as my personal favourites!). There is a selection of pools and splash parks, as well as several water slides, although we didn't really take full advantage of these, as we were caught in rain showers in the afternoon. Throughout the park there are also shows to see at set times. These sometimes involve feats of dancing or acrobatics, but many of the shows revolve around the parks animals and marine biology conservation, in fact each ticket to the park contributes towards the parks rescue centre and environmental education, as well as a selection of conservation projects.
