LET'S COMPLETE ANTZ EXTREME RACING IN UNDER 2 HOURS

Oh boy. This is an interesting one. A game, based on a Dreamworks movie that came out before Bug's Life and had a feud with Pixar over the similaries of both movies, is a more adult version of a tale about an ant and is alot darker and sadder in ways... and it's a racing game. By SuperSonic Software, who gave you Linus Spacehead ports and, later on, Mashed on PS2, and published by L.S.P. Productions and Empire Interactive under the XPLOSIV brand, this is a trainwreck of a licensed Dreamworks game that was put on PS2, Xbox and PC. I end up playing the PS2 copy because that's what these longplays have so far been done on. And oh boy, is this game BAD. With bad controls, awkward gameplay, a rather harsh AI, bad level design and nightmares like the sliding levels, i'm surprised i was actually able to BEAT this in under 2 hours. Not only that but it's a blue CD disc PS2 game, which means getting this to run was just as painful as actually playing through all of it. In order to actually complete the game, you can't just do Z. You have to do all characters, which i do in order of what the game directs to me. It's kinda similar to Toy Story Racer, in how you just do a numerous amount of challenges for a set number of characters and after a bit, you unlock a new character with their own challenges to complete. You also get cheats for clearing a character... and oh god, you'll love what the cheats give you. I had to make slight edits on this. First, screen isn't centred right. I had to fix that. Secondly, due to conditioning of the disc with the tape method and all, the logo scenes were incredibly stuttery and unwatchable. So i opted to rip them out of the disc and add them in to replace them. The rest is fine, surprisingly enough, with little loading time to go through on each level.
