Porsche 911 996 Carrera Reassembly! IT RUNS, But I Lost Some Sleep Over The Littlest Thing

Finally, I have a 996 Update for you all! It feels great to make progress on this "not project car". This was a car I bought that only needed a few things... another engine out service later... If you haven't seen the other videos on this car, they can be found here    • The 996 That Wasn't so "ready to drive"   In this video I finish reinstalling the engine and transmission. Connecting everything from axles, to shifter cables, fuel lines, AC, power steering, harness, etc. I made a mistake though. One that cost me some sleep. I wasn't thorough enough. I know better, but I should've done things in a different order. I feel like anyone who has project cars runs into a similar "Oh I wish I looked here first" at least once in a while. There's still a lot of work left, but it feels like the majority of it is done. Of course after this part of the car is finished there are a few cosmetic things that need done which I hope to get to in short order. I'm really hoping to have this 996 wrapped up by the time the weather breaks as I intend to put some miles on it this year. I hope you enjoyed this mid-week update. As always, I love all of the comments, feedback and even the criticism. Catch you all on the next one! -Eric
