Road Trip 🚙 [05.31.2026]

Date taken: May 31st, 2026 / 11:07AM Location: C5 Taguig going to Calamba, Laguna, Philippines. It's the last day of the month and in this video I planned to meet my high school best friends. It's been years since my last visit to Calamba (my home province) because my work has been in Manila ever since I started my new life. I grew up in Calamba and a lot has changed in this place. Lots of houses and establishments were raised, businesses along the way have been expanded as well. Some establishments that became part of my childhood are also gone now. Overall, it's still the same province where I grew up. I started my first job in Calamba and through time, I realized that I won't be able to develop myself in terms of career and income, so I decided to go far away. With my college degree, I traveled to Manila, a place where you can grab a lot of opportunities. It took me years to establish myself and here I am. Getting married and prepared for the next chapters of my life. Sometimes, it's better to leave the people, places and the things you care the most in order for you to develop yourself better. And when you've established yourself enough, try to look back and pay your old friends a visit. You'll be surprised that not only they established themselves, the place where you came from won't be the same as before. Time really changes people and places.
