This video shows an alleged publication from May 1955 in the American magazine Housekeeping, a guide to being a good wife. The purpose of the publication was to help housewives with household chores and how to be a good wife. In the 1950s, it was very common for women's magazines to be indispensable for a woman. The Good Wife's Guide was the only thing girls had to know how to behave after they got married. Even their conduct on their wedding night was dictated by the articles published in such magazines.
